Getting There

  • Public Transportation - Metro

    If you are near T-Centralen, take the blue line (Tunnelbana) towards Kungsträdgården. Get off at the next stop, which is Kungsträdgården. Once you exit the station, head towards the park (Kungsträdgården) and follow the signs to Slottsbacken. Walk towards the water, and you will see the Royal Palace ahead. Skattkammaren is located at Slottsbacken 1, just next to the palace.

  • Public Transportation - Tram

    If you are near Sergels Torg, take tram 7 towards Lidingö. Get off at the stop called 'Nybroplan'. From Nybroplan, walk towards the water and head towards the Royal Palace (about a 10-minute walk). Follow the waterfront promenade, and then turn left onto Slottsbacken. Skattkammaren is located at Slottsbacken 1.

  • Walking

    If you are already in Gamla Stan (the Old Town), simply walk towards the Royal Palace. Head straight through the main street of Gamla Stan (Västerlånggatan), and then continue straight onto Slottsbacken. Skattkammaren is located at Slottsbacken 1, right next to the palace entrance.

    Take bus 43 from any central bus stop towards 'Sundbyberg'. Get off at the stop 'Slottsbacken'. Once you get off, you will be at the foot of Slottsbacken. Walk towards the Royal Palace, and Skattkammaren is located at Slottsbacken 1, adjacent to the palace.
