Walking
If you're starting from Bern's main train station (Bern Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head towards the city center. Walk straight along Bahnhofplatz and continue onto Kramgasse, a pedestrian street filled with shops and cafes. Follow Kramgasse until you reach the Zytglogge (Clock Tower). From there, turn left onto Münsterplattform and walk towards the Cathedral (Berner Münster). After enjoying the view, continue on Münsterplattform which leads directly to the Bundesplatz. The Federal Palace Fountain is located right in front of the Federal Palace (Bundeshaus) on Bundesplatz. It's approximately a 15-20 minute walk.

From Bern Hauptbahnhof, take tram line 9 in the direction of 'Gümligen'. Get off at the 'Bundesplatz' stop, which is the stop closest to the Federal Palace Fountain.
