To reach Big Bend Ranch State Park from Big Bend National Park, start by exiting the park through the Persimmon Gap Entrance Station. Continue on TX-118 North for approximately 14 miles until you reach the junction with US-90. Turn right onto US-90 and drive for about 27 miles. Then, turn left onto TX-170 West, which will take you directly to the entrance of Big Bend Ranch State Park. The park entrance is located at 21800 FM170, Terlingua, TX 79852. Make sure to have a map or GPS on hand as cell service can be limited in this area. Note that there is a $5 entrance fee per person at the state park.

If you are traveling by public transportation, you will need to first reach the nearest town with bus services, which is Alpine, TX. From Alpine, you can take a bus to Terlingua. Once in Terlingua, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to get to Big Bend Ranch State Park, as public transport options are limited.
