    If you are in the city center of Chiang Rai, head to the central bus station (Bus Terminal 1) located on Phaholyothin Road. Look for a tuk-tuk; they are readily available. Tell the driver you want to go to Wat Phra Kaew Chiang Rai, located at 19 Moo 1, Trairat Rd. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.

  • Songthaew (Shared Taxi)

    From the Chiang Rai Night Bazaar, walk to the main road and wait for a songthaew (red truck taxi) heading towards the city center. Once you board, inform the driver that you want to go to Wat Phra Kaew Chiang Rai. The fare is usually around 20-30 baht per person, and the journey will take about 15 minutes.
