If you are in the center of Chiang Rai, start at the Clock Tower, a well-known landmark. From the Clock Tower, head east on Phaholyothin Road until you reach the intersection with Trairat Road. Turn left onto Trairat Road. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers. Wat Phra Kaew will be on your left at 19 หมู่ที่ 1 Trairat Rd, Wiang, Mueang Chiang Rai District, Chiang Rai 57000.

Find a tuk-tuk service near your location in Chiang Rai. Tell the driver you want to go to Wat Phra Kaew. The driver will likely take you along Phaholyothin Road. After about 10 minutes, they will turn left onto Trairat Road. Continue for another 5 minutes, and the temple will be on your left. Make sure to confirm the price before starting your journey.

Locate a songthaew stop, commonly found near markets or the Clock Tower. Board any songthaew that indicates it goes to Wiang or the area around Trairat Road. The fare is usually around 20-30 THB.
