If you're traveling by car, head towards Pakbeng, Oudom Xay Province, Laos. From the Mekong River Region, you can reach Pakbeng via Route 2 and Route 13. Follow the signs towards Pakbeng, and once you arrive in the town, look for the signs directing you to the Mekong Elephant Park Sanctuary. The sanctuary is located just across the river, so you may need to take a small ferry. The ferry ride costs approximately 20,000 LAK (Lao Kip) per person. Once you cross the river, follow the marked paths to the sanctuary.

To reach the Mekong Elephant Park Sanctuary via public transportation, first, take a bus from your current location in the Mekong River Region to Pakbeng. Buses are available from various towns such as Luang Prabang or Huay Xai. The bus fare ranges from 50,000 to 100,000 LAK depending on the distance. Upon arriving in Pakbeng, you can hire a tuk-tuk or walk to the riverside. From there, take the ferry across the river to the sanctuary, which costs around 20,000 LAK per person. Once you disembark, follow the signs to the sanctuary.
