Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Mueang Phayao District. Head southwest on Phayao-Kunthakarn Road (Route 1) for about 2 kilometers. You will see signs pointing towards Kwan Phayao lake. Continue until you see a junction, then turn left onto the road leading towards the lake. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see the Pho Khun Ngam Muang Monument on your right, directly opposite Kwan Phayao. There is parking available nearby.

To reach the Pho Khun Ngam Muang Monument via public transport, find a local songthaew (shared taxi) or tuk-tuk in Mueang Phayao District. Make sure to tell the driver that you want to go to Kwan Phayao lake, as the monument is located nearby. The fare should typically be around 20-30 Thai Baht per person, depending on your starting point. Once you arrive at Kwan Phayao lake, you can walk approximately 10 minutes to reach the monument, which will be on your right.
