If you are driving from Gulu, take the Gulu-Masindi road (A-109) heading south for about 143 km. As you approach Masindi, follow signs towards Murchison Falls National Park. Take the turn-off towards the park entrance, which is approximately 20 km from Masindi. Ensure you have your park entry fees ready, which are approximately $40 per person for foreign non-residents, as per current rates.

From Gulu, you can take a bus or a shared taxi to Masindi. The journey takes around 3-4 hours and costs approximately UGX 20,000 - 30,000. Once in Masindi, you can hire a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) or a private taxi to take you to the Murchison Falls National Park entrance, which is about 20 km away. The boda-boda ride should cost around UGX 10,000 - 15,000, while a private taxi may charge UGX 30,000 - 50,000 depending on negotiation.
