If you're driving from the center of Banchory, head northeast on the A980. Continue on this road for about 2 miles until you reach the junction with the A93. Turn right onto the A93 and follow it for approximately 1.5 miles. Look for signs indicating Drumoak and turn left onto the B979. Follow the B979 until you see signs for Drum Castle on your right. The castle is located at Drumoak, Banchory AB31 5EY. There is ample parking available on site.

From Banchory, you can take the Stagecoach bus service that runs regularly to Drumoak. Catch the bus at the main bus stop in Banchory, which is located near the town center. Confirm the schedule beforehand as services may vary. The journey to Drumoak takes approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at the stop in Drumoak, it's a short walk to Drum Castle. Follow the signs towards the castle, which is located about 0.5 miles from the bus stop.

Follow the road until you see the entrance to Drum Castle on your left. The path to the castle is well-marked, making it easy to navigate.
