If you are in the heart of Newnham, make your way to the main road, which is Newnham Road. Head east towards the river, keeping your eyes on the signs for the Cambridge University Botanic Garden. Once you reach the river, turn right onto the path that runs along the River Cam. Continue walking along the riverbank until you reach a bridge. Cross the bridge, and as you come off the bridge, you will see signs directing you to Paradise Local Nature Reserve. Follow these signs, and after a short walk through the trees, you will arrive at the entrance of Paradise Local Nature Reserve.

To reach Paradise Local Nature Reserve by bicycle, start from the Newnham area and head towards Newnham Road. Once on Newnham Road, you can either ride along the road or take the cycle path that runs parallel to it. Follow this path until you reach the River Cam. When you get to the river, ride along the cycle path adjacent to the river. Look for a bridge to cross over, and once you cross it, follow the signs to Paradise Local Nature Reserve, which will lead you through the scenic pathways to the entrance.

If you prefer to take the bus, catch the bus number 1 or 2 from the nearest bus stop in Newnham heading towards the city center. The bus ride will take around 10 minutes. Get off at the stop called 'Silver Street'. From there, walk towards the River Cam and head east along the riverbank. Look for the bridge to cross over; once you cross, follow the signs to Paradise Local Nature Reserve, which will guide you to the entrance.
