Getting There

  • Bus

    From Derry, walk to the Foyle Bus Station located on the Strand Road. Take the Bus Eireann service heading towards Donegal. You will want to board the bus that goes to 'Ballybofey' or 'Donegal Town'. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to stop at Creeslough. After you arrive in Creeslough, exit the bus and walk towards the main road (N56).

    Once you reach the main road (N56) in Creeslough, you will see a sign for Doe Castle. It is approximately a 3.5 km walk from Creeslough to Doe Castle. Head northwest on the N56 for about 1 km until you reach a fork. Take the left fork onto the R245, then follow the road for another 2.5 km. Look for the signs for Doe Castle, which will guide you to the entrance.
