Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Durham Cathedral, exit the cathedral grounds and head down the hill towards the river. Follow the path along the River Wear until you reach the Elvet Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the end of the street. Turn left onto North Road, and you will find Millenium Square on your right just a short walk away.

    From Durham Train Station, exit the station and turn left onto the A690 (North Road). Walk straight along North Road for approximately 10 minutes. As you approach the city center, keep an eye out for Millenium Square, which will be located on your left just after the roundabout.
