From Durham Train Station, exit the station and head towards the city center. Walk straight along North Road, which will eventually turn into the busy Market Place. From the Market Place, follow the signs directing you to the River Wear. Once you reach the river, turn left and walk along the riverbank for about 10 minutes until you arrive at Framwellgate Bridge.

If you are near the Gala Theatre, exit the theatre and head towards the river via Millenium Place. Once you reach the River Wear, turn left and follow the river path. Continue walking for about 5-7 minutes, and you will see Framwellgate Bridge ahead. The bridge is an excellent spot for taking pictures of the surrounding area.
