If you are starting from Durham Cathedral, head down the hill towards the river. Cross the river using the Elvet Bridge and continue straight onto New Elvet. Follow the road as it turns into North Road, which will lead you towards the city center. Once you reach the Market Place, you will see St Nicholas’ Church (St Nic's) on your left-hand side, located at Durham Market Place, DH1 3NJ.
