If you are starting from Durham Cathedral, head southeast on The College towards the river. Cross over the river using the Elvet Bridge. Once you are across, continue straight onto High Street. Follow this street until you reach the Market Place, which will be on your left.

Starting at the Durham Train Station, exit the station and turn left onto North Road. Continue walking straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Framwellgate Peth. Follow this road until you see the Market Place on your right.

From the Durham University Students' Union, head southwest on Elvet Hill Road towards the city center. As you approach the city, turn left onto Claypath and continue straight. Follow Claypath until it merges into Market Place. You will find the Market Place ahead.

If you are coming from the Gala Theatre, exit the theatre and head north on Millenium Place towards the river. Cross the river using the Framwellgate Bridge, and continue straight onto North Road. Keep walking until you reach the Market Place on your left.
