From Waverley Station, exit the station and head to the bus stop located on North Bridge. Take the Lothian Buses number 8 or 29 towards 'The Mound'. Stay on the bus for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Duddingston Road'. From there, walk east along Duddingston Road until you reach the Dunsapie Loch entrance, which is a short walk.

If you are in the city center, you can also walk to Dunsapie Loch. Start from the Edinburgh Castle and head down the Royal Mile towards Holyrood Palace. Once you reach the Scottish Parliament, continue south to Holyrood Park. Follow the pathways within the park, heading towards the east side until you reach Dunsapie Loch. This walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
