Walking
If you are starting from Edinburgh Waverley Station, exit the station onto Market Street. Head west towards the Royal Mile, then turn left onto the Royal Mile. Walk up the hill until you reach North Bridge. Cross North Bridge and continue straight onto South Bridge. After a short walk, take a right onto the Canongate. Continue on Canongate until you reach the junction with the High Street. Turn left onto the High Street and walk until you see the statue of Wellington on your right, located at the top of the street near the entrance of the Royal Scots Greys Museum.

Bus
From Princes Street, take bus number 7, 8, or 29 towards Brunstane. Get off at the stop named 'North Bridge'. After disembarking, walk towards the Royal Mile, then turn left. Continue straight until you reach the High Street. The Monument to Wellington will be on your right side at the top of the street.

Tram
If you are near the Edinburgh Tram stop at St Andrew Square, board a tram towards Edinburgh Airport. Get off at the next stop, which is 'York Place'. From there, walk towards the east along York Place until you reach the intersection with Broughton Street. Turn left onto Broughton Street which will lead you to the top of the Royal Mile. The Monument to Wellington will be located at the end of the street on your right.
