If you are starting from the city centre, head towards Princes Street and walk east. Continue walking until you reach the junction with North Bridge. Turn left onto North Bridge and cross the road. Once you cross, continue straight until you reach Waterloo Place. The entrance to Old Calton Cemetery will be on your left-hand side.

To reach Old Calton Cemetery by bus, find the nearest bus stop and take any bus heading towards North Bridge or Waterloo Place. Look for buses with routes that pass through the city centre, such as numbers 3, 7, or 8. Get off at the stop on Waterloo Place. Once you get off, the cemetery will be directly in front of you.

If you prefer to take the tram, board a tram at any of the stops along the route towards York Place. Disembark at the York Place tram stop. From there, walk south towards Waterloo Place, which should take about 5 minutes. Old Calton Cemetery will be on your right after you cross the road.
