If you are near Princes Street, head towards the Scott Monument located at the east end of the street. From there, walk down George IV Bridge until you reach the Royal Mile. Continue along the Royal Mile until you reach the junction with Waverley Bridge. Waverley Steps are located just off Waverley Bridge, between the Scottish National Gallery and the Waverley Train Station entrance.
