If you're traveling by car, start from the main town of Tobermory. Take the A848 south towards Salen. After approximately 11 miles, turn left onto the A849 towards Fionnphort. Continue on this road for about 5 miles until you reach the junction for the B8035. Turn right onto the B8035 and follow the road for another 3 miles until you reach Lochbuie. You will find the Lochbuie Standing Stones located along Unnamed Road. There is free parking available along the roadside near the stones.

For those using public transport, take the local bus service from Tobermory to Fionnphort. The bus departs several times a day, and the fare is approximately £5. Once you arrive at Fionnphort, you will need to either walk or arrange a taxi to take you to Lochbuie, as public transport does not directly service this area. The walk from Fionnphort to Lochbuie is about 3 miles and takes approximately 1 hour. It's advisable to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited, especially on weekends.
