Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the main town of Tobermory. Head southwest on the A848 towards Salen and follow the A849 southbound. After approximately 14 miles, you will reach the turnoff for Lochbuie. Turn left onto the B8035. Continue on this road for about 5 miles, passing through the scenic countryside. When you reach Lochbuie, look for the location marked '85X5+7V' on your GPS, which is Glenbyre Farm. Parking is available nearby.

If using public transportation, take a bus from Tobermory to Salen on the West Coast Motors service (check schedules as they vary). From Salen, catch the bus heading towards Lochbuie. Get off at the stop closest to Lochbuie village. From there, it’s about a 20-minute walk to Glenbyre Farm (85X5+7V). Follow the road signs towards Lochbuie and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.
