From Leeds city centre, walk to the Leeds City Bus Station located at Dyer Street. Take the X1 bus towards York. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at York Bus Station, exit the station and head west on Station Road. Continue onto Toft Green, then turn left onto Rougier Street. Follow this road until you reach the junction with the River Ouse. Cross the river using the Ouse Bridge, then continue straight onto Coney Street. After about a 10-minute walk, turn right onto the Shambles, and 11 Shambles will be on your left.

Make your way to Leeds Train Station located on New Station Street. From there, take a direct train to York Station. The journey lasts about 25-30 minutes. Upon arriving at York Station, exit the station and follow the signs for the city centre. Walk along Station Road, which will lead you to the main shopping area. Once you reach the junction with Coney Street, turn left and walk straight until you reach the Shambles. Turn right onto the Shambles, and 11 Shambles will be on your left.
