Walking
If you are starting from York Railway Station, exit the station and head northwest on Station Road. Continue straight until you reach the first roundabout. Take the first exit onto Leeman Road. After approximately 0.3 miles, you will see the City Walls on your left. Follow the City Walls towards the city center. After about 0.5 miles, you will reach the Bootham Bar entrance to the city walls. Continue walking straight onto High Petergate. When you reach the junction with Deangate, turn right. The Cathedral and Metropolitical Church of St Peter in York will be on your left at Minster Yard.

From York Railway Station, you can take a bus to the city center. Look for the bus stop near the station and catch either the number 1 or number 5 bus heading towards the city. The journey will take about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Museum Gardens' stop. From there, walk towards the end of the gardens, and you will see the Minster in front of you. Walk along the pathway leading to Minster Yard, and you will arrive at The Cathedral and Metropolitical Church of St Peter in York.

If you prefer to ride a bicycle, you can rent one from various bike rental stations around York. Start by heading down the cycle path from your location towards the River Ouse. Follow the river along the cycle path until you reach the Ouse Bridge. Cross the bridge and turn left onto St. Helen's Square. Continue straight until you reach the Minster area. Follow the signs for the Minster, and you will arrive at The Cathedral and Metropolitical Church of St Peter in York.
