The closest parking is at the Union Terrace Car Park, from which you can walk to 28 Shambles in about 10 minutes.

Once you arrive at York Station, exit the station and follow signs for the city center. You can either walk (about 15 minutes) or take a local bus. If you choose to walk, head straight down Station Road, crossing the river, until you reach the edge of the city center. Continue towards the Minster and then follow signs to The Shambles. If you prefer the bus, catch the number 5 or 6 from the station bus stop, which will take you closer to the city center and you can disembark at The Shambles stop. From there, it's just a short walk to 28 Shambles.
