Start at the York Minster, which is a prominent landmark in the city. From the main entrance of York Minster, head down Minster Yard and turn left onto High Petergate. Continue walking straight along High Petergate. Shadows of York Ghost Walk is located at High Petergate, York YO1 7EN, just a short walk from the Minster. Look for the entrance to the ghost walk, which is often marked with signs or guides waiting for participants.

If you are further away, you can take a local bus to reach the city center. Buses such as the number 1 or 5 will take you to the city center. Get off at the 'Museum Gardens' bus stop. From there, walk towards the entrance of the Museum Gardens and exit onto High Petergate. Turn left, and you will find Shadows of York Ghost Walk a short distance ahead.

If you have rented a bicycle, start from the city center and head towards the York Minster. Follow the same route as the walking instructions: cycle along Minster Yard and turn left onto High Petergate.
