From Jesmond, head south on Jesmond Dene Road towards the city center. Continue straight onto Clayton Road, which becomes Osborne Road. Keep walking straight until you reach the roundabout, then take the first exit onto the A1058 (Coast Road). Continue walking for roughly 1 mile until you reach the city center area. You will see signs for the Quayside and the central shopping district. As you approach the central area, look for signs leading to Castle Garth.

From Jesmond Metro Station, take the Metro towards the city center (Newcastle). The journey takes about 4 minutes. Get off at the Monument station. Exit the station and walk towards Grey Street, then head towards the Castle Garth area. Newcastle Castle is located a short walk from here, approximately 10 minutes on foot.

Catch the number 1 or 2 bus from Jesmond (e.g., from the bus stop at Osborne Road). The bus will take you directly into the city center. Alight at the Haymarket stop and walk towards the Castle Garth area. Newcastle Castle is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
