From the Monument, take the Metro train towards South Shields and get off at the Jesmond station, which is approximately a 10-minute ride. Upon exiting the station, turn left onto Clayton Road and follow it straight until you reach the junction with the main road, Osborne Road. Cross at the crossing and continue straight onto the path leading into Jesmond Dene Park. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you into Jesmond Dene, which will lead you through the beautiful wooded area until you arrive at the park.

From Newcastle city centre, you can catch the number 38 or 39 bus from the Haymarket Bus Station. These buses run frequently and will take you towards Jesmond. Ride the bus for about 10-15 minutes, and get off at the stop called 'Jesmond Dene Road'. Once you disembark, simply follow the signs indicating the entrance to Jesmond Dene Park, which is just a short walk away.
