    If you are in Nottingham city center, start at the Old Market Square. From the square, head north along Long Row, which becomes Upper Parliament Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the A60 (Clumber Street). Turn left onto the A60 and walk until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Maid Marian Way (A60). Follow the road until you see the signs for Nottingham Castle. Continue past the castle entrance, and take the first right onto Castle Boulevard. Walk a short distance and you will see Brewhouse Yard on your left. The Museum of Nottingham Life is located within Brewhouse Yard.

    From Nottingham Train Station, exit the station and head towards the tram stop located directly outside. Take the NET tram towards Toton Lane and alight at the 'Royal Centre' stop. From there, walk towards the A60 (Nottingham Castle). Continue along the road until you reach Castle Boulevard.
