If you're driving from Kirkwall, head south on the A961 towards St. Margaret's Hope. After about 3 miles, take a right turn onto the B9052 towards Holm. Continue on the B9052 for approximately 2 miles. Look for signs pointing to Rennibister Earth House and follow the narrow road leading up the hill. The Earth House is located on the hillside and may require a short walk from the parking area.

Take the bus from Kirkwall to St. Margaret's Hope (Service 6 or 7). Get off at the Holm stop. From there, you'll need to walk approximately 1.5 miles along the B9052 towards Rennibister.
