If you are driving, head towards the town of Stromness, which is one of the main towns in Orkney. From Stromness, take the A965 road heading northwest. After approximately 6 miles, you will reach the junction with the B9056. Turn left onto the B9056 and continue for about 1.5 miles. You will see signs for Bay of Skaill; follow these signs, and you will arrive at the bay area, which is well-marked.
