Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Sussex, take the A23 towards London. Continue on the A23 until you reach the junction with the A202, then take the A202 towards Westminster. Follow signs for Parliament Square. There is limited parking available nearby, so consider using a public car park or on-street parking where allowed. Please note that congestion charges may apply in Central London, so check the local regulations for fees.

• Train

  To reach the House of Commons by train, first find your nearest train station in Sussex. Board a train heading to London Victoria or London Bridge. Once you arrive at either station, transfer to the London Underground. From London Victoria, take the District or Circle Line towards Edgware Road and get off at Westminster Station. From London Bridge, take the Northern Line to Embankment, then change to the District or Circle Line towards Westminster. The House of Commons is a short walk from Westminster Station, just follow the signs.

• Bus

  For bus travel, locate your nearest bus stop in Sussex and check for services that head towards London, particularly those that go to Victoria Coach Station or similar central locations. Once in London, you can take local buses that stop near Westminster. Check the Transport for London (TfL) website for specific routes and schedules. There will be a fare for the bus, which can be paid using an Oyster card or contactless payment.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider booking a taxi or using a rideshare service like Uber. Simply input 'Houses of Parliament, St Margaret St, London SW1A 0AA' as your destination. This option provides door-to-door service, but be aware that traffic in London can be heavy, which may affect travel time and cost.
