Getting There

  • Walking

    From Windsor Castle, exit the castle grounds and walk down Castle Hill towards the river. Cross the river using the bridge and turn left onto the Thames Path. Follow the path until you reach the main road, then turn right onto the A332 (Windsor Road). Continue walking for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the Windsor & Eton Central train station. From there, take a train to London Paddington Station. Once at Paddington, take the Bakerloo Line (brown line) towards Elephant & Castle and get off at Oxford Circus. At Oxford Circus, transfer to the Victoria Line (light blue line) towards Brixton and get off at Green Park Station. Finally, change to the Jubilee Line (grey line) towards Stratford and get off at Westminster Station. From Westminster, it is a short walk to Buckingham Palace Rd.

  • Train and Subway

    Start your journey at Windsor & Eton Central train station. Purchase a ticket to London Paddington, which will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Paddington, follow the signs for the Underground and take the Bakerloo Line (brown line) to Oxford Circus. At Oxford Circus, change to the Victoria Line (light blue line) and head towards Brixton, getting off at Green Park Station. From Green Park, transfer to the Jubilee Line (grey line) towards Stratford and disembark at Westminster Station. From there, it is a 10-minute walk to Buckingham Palace Rd.

  • Bus

    From Windsor, head to the Windsor Theatre Royal bus stop located on Thames Street. Catch the Green Line 702 bus towards London. The bus journey will take approximately 1 hour. Get off at the Victoria Coach Station. From there, it is a 15-minute walk to Buckingham Palace Rd. Simply exit the station and head northeast on Buckingham Palace Rd until you reach your destination.
