    If you are starting from York Minster, head south on Minster Yard towards Ogleforth. Turn left onto Ogleforth and continue onto Stonegate. Follow Stonegate until it becomes High Petergate, then keep straight onto The Shambles. At the end of The Shambles, turn right onto Pavement. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the River Ouse. Cross the river using the Ouse Bridge and continue onto Bishopgate. Keep walking straight until you reach a fork; take the left path onto Baile Hill. The hill will be on your left.
