Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, navigate to Monument Cl, Holgate, York YO24 4HT. From the A64, take the exit towards York and follow signs for the city center. Once you reach the city, continue on the A1036 (Tadcaster Road) and then turn onto Holgate Road. Follow Holgate Road until you reach Monument Close where the York Cold War Bunker is located. There is limited street parking available nearby, so plan accordingly.

• Train

  To reach the York Cold War Bunker by train, take a train to York Station, which is well-connected from various parts of Yorkshire. Upon arrival at York Station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop outside. You can take bus number 4 or 5 which stops near Holgate. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the Holgate Road stop. From there, it is a short walk to Monument Cl where the bunker is located.
