    From the center of Mt. Carmel, head south on Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Highway 89. Turn right onto Highway 89 and walk approximately 4.5 miles. As you walk, enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding landscape. Once you reach the junction with the Zion – Mount Carmel Highway (UT-9), turn left onto UT-9. Continue walking for about 5 miles to reach the Zion-Mount Carmel Tunnel - East Entrance. Make sure to stay on the designated paths and be cautious of any traffic.

    Starting from the center of Mt. Carmel, find a bike path or road leading south on Main Street. Ride straight until you hit Highway 89. Turn right onto Highway 89 and cycle for approximately 4.5 miles. After reaching the junction with Zion – Mount Carmel Highway (UT-9), turn left. Continue biking for about 5 miles. The tunnel entrance will be on your right as you approach it. Always wear a helmet and be aware of vehicles on the road.
