Start from the center of Mt. Carmel at the intersection of Highway 89 and State Route 9. Head south on Highway 89 for about 1.5 miles until you reach the junction with State Route 9. Turn left onto State Route 9 and continue for approximately 5 miles, enjoying the scenic views along the way. Look for signs indicating the Canyon Overlook Trailhead. Once you arrive at the parking lot (Canyon Overlook Trailhead Parking Lot) on your right, you will see the trailhead leading into the beautiful canyon.

You can lock your bike at the bike rack available at the parking lot before heading onto the trail.
