Getting There

  • Car

    From Zion National Park, take the Zion-Mount Carmel Highway (Utah Route 9) heading east. Continue for approximately 12 miles until you reach the junction with US-89. Turn left (north) onto US-89 and continue for about 20 miles. Look for the signs for Hurricane and turn onto UT-59. Follow UT-59 until you reach the intersection with 5300 W. Turn left onto 5300 W, and Quail Creek State Park will be on your right after about 2 miles. The total driving distance is approximately 35 miles and will take about 40-50 minutes.

    If you are using public transportation, you will need to take the shuttle from Zion National Park to Springdale. From Springdale, board the Greyhound or a local shuttle service to Hurricane, UT. Once in Hurricane, a taxi or rideshare service can take you to Quail Creek State Park. Be sure to check the schedules as they may vary, and factor in time for transfers.
