Walking
From the entrance of Vatican Gardens, exit towards Viale Vaticano. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via di Porta Angelica. Turn left and continue walking until you reach the Ponte Sant'Angelo. Cross the bridge, and upon reaching the other side, continue straight onto Lungotevere in Augusta. After a few minutes of walking, you will see a sign for Piazza Pietro D'Illiria. Follow the sign, and you will arrive at Giardino degli Aranci.

From the Vatican Gardens, head back to Viale Vaticano and find the nearest bus stop. Take bus number 81 or 492 towards the direction of the Colosseum. Get off at the stop 'Piazza Venezia.' From there, walk towards Via dei Fori Imperiali and continue until you reach Piazza Pietro D'Illiria. Giardino degli Aranci will be located nearby.
