From the Vatican Museums, exit the main entrance and head towards Viale Vaticano. Once you reach Viale Vaticano, turn left and continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via di Porta Angelica. Cross the street and continue straight on Via di Porta Angelica, which will lead you to Piazza San Pietro. At the piazza, turn right onto Via della Conciliazione and follow the road towards the Tiber River. After about a 10-minute walk, you will reach the intersection with Via del Teatro Pace. Turn left onto Via del Teatro Pace, and continue until you reach Piazza del Gesù. The Chiesa del Gesù will be on your left side, identifiable by its impressive façade.

From the Vatican Museums, exit the main entrance and walk to the nearest bus stop on Viale Vaticano. Take the bus line 81 towards 'Stazione Trastevere'. Disembark at the 'Chiesa Nuova' stop. From there, walk straight along Corso Vittorio Emanuele II until you reach the intersection with Via del Gesù. Turn right onto Via del Gesù; the Chiesa del Gesù will be a short walk ahead on the right side.
