Walking
From the Vatican Museums, exit the main entrance. Once outside, head towards the main road, Viale Vaticano. Turn left and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via Leone IV. Continue straight on Viale Vaticano until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Via della Conciliazione. Walk down Via della Conciliazione until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the bridge, Ponte Sant'Angelo. After crossing, continue straight onto Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Follow this street until it becomes Via dei Fori Imperiali, and you will arrive at the Roman Forum.

Public Transport (Bus)
Exit the Vatican Museums and walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Viale Vaticano. Board bus number 81 or 87. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop labeled 'Fori Imperiali - Colosseo'. From there, walk straight ahead on Via dei Fori Imperiali, and you will reach the Roman Forum.

From the Vatican Museums, walk to the nearest Metro station, Ottaviano (Line A). Take the Metro towards Anagnina. Change trains at the Termini station to Line B. Take the Metro towards Laurentina and get off at the Colosseo station. Exit the station and walk straight on Via dei Fori Imperiali to reach the Roman Forum.
