    Getting There

    Walking

    From the Vatican Museums, exit through the main entrance. Once you are outside, walk straight down Viale Vaticano until you reach the intersection with Via Ottaviano. Turn right onto Via Ottaviano and continue walking until you reach the Ottaviano Metro Station. Take Line A towards Anagnina. After 4 stops, get off at Flaminio Station. Exit the station and walk towards Piazza del Popolo. The Terrazza del Pincio is located just behind the square. Follow the signs leading to the Pincio Gardens, which will lead you to the terrace offering a stunning view of the city.

    Bus

    From the Vatican Museums, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Viale Vaticano. Take Bus 81 or Bus 982 towards 'Stazione Termini'. After about 15 minutes, get off at the 'Piazza del Popolo' stop. Once you get off the bus, walk towards the square and head to the Pincio Gardens located at the back of the square. The Terrazza del Pincio is situated in the gardens and offers beautiful panoramic views of Rome.
