Walking
From the main entrance of the Vatican Necropolis, head east towards Via della Conciliazione. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Via di Porta Angelica. Continue walking straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Via Appia Nuova. Turn left onto Via Appia Nuova, and after approximately 1.5 km, you will find Capannelle Racecourse at Via Appia Nuova, 1245 on your right.
Public Transport
From the Vatican Necropolis, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Via della Conciliazione. Board bus number 81 towards 'Stazione Termini.' After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop 'Stazione Tuscolana.' From there, you can either walk (about 15 minutes) or take bus number 654 towards 'Capannelle' and get off at the stop 'Appia Nuova/Capannelle.' Capannelle Racecourse will be a short walk from the bus stop, located at Via Appia Nuova, 1245.
