Getting There

  • Walking

    From the entrance of the Vatican Necropolis, head southeast towards the main exit. Once you exit, turn left onto Via della Conciliazione. Continue walking straight until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river via the Ponte Sant'Angelo. After crossing, turn right and walk along the river until you reach the roundabout. From there, take the second exit onto Via del Corso. Continue straight until you see the signs for Piazza Barberini. The plaza will be on your left, and you will see the famous Triton Fountain at its center.

  • Walking

    If you are at St. Peter's Basilica, exit the church and head towards St. Peter's Square. Walk straight down Via della Conciliazione and follow the previous directions from the river crossing. It’s a pleasant walk along the riverbank that will lead you to Piazza Barberini.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From the Vatican Necropolis, exit and head to the nearest bus stop on Via della Conciliazione. Take Bus 64 towards 'P.za Stazione S. Pietro' and get off at the 'P.za Venezia' stop. From there, walk towards Via del Corso and follow it until you reach Piazza Barberini. It is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
