Walking
From the entrance of the Vatican Necropolis, walk towards the main exit. Exit the Necropolis and head towards the Vatican Museums entrance. Once you reach the entrance to the Vatican Museums, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Viale Vaticano. Turn right onto Viale Vaticano. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via della Conciliazione. Cross the street and continue straight. You will eventually see the large gates leading into the Vatican Gardens. Pass through the gates and enter the gardens, where you will find signs directing you towards Villa Borghese.

Public Transport - Bus
From the Vatican Necropolis, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Via della Conciliazione. Take bus number 81 towards 'Staz. Termini' and get off at the 'Piazza Barberini' stop. Once you exit the bus, walk straight onto Via Vittorio Veneto, which will lead you directly to Villa Borghese. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer to walk, you can exit the Vatican Necropolis and head directly towards the Castel Sant'Angelo. From there, follow the path along the Tiber River until you reach the Ponte Flaminio. Cross the river and continue straight until you arrive at the entrance of Villa Borghese. This walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes, providing a scenic view along the river.
