    If you are traveling by car, head towards Great Falls, VA. From the Dulles Toll Road (VA-267), take the exit for VA-7 W towards Leesburg. Continue on VA-7 W for about 5 miles, then take the exit for VA-659 S (Leesburg Pike). Follow VA-659 S for approximately 3 miles, then turn left onto Jeffery Rd. River Bend Nature Center will be on your right at 8700-8814 Jeffery Rd, Great Falls, VA 22066. Parking is available on-site and is free.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, you can take the Washington Metro to the Wiehle-Reston East Station (Silver Line). From there, catch the Fairfax Connector Bus 505 towards Reston Town Center and get off at the 'South Lakes High School' stop. From there, it’s about a 1.5-mile walk to River Bend Nature Center. You will walk west on South Lakes Dr, then turn right onto Jeffery Rd. Keep walking until you reach the nature center. Please note that bus fares can vary, so check the current fare on the Fairfax Connector website.
