There is no entry fee to the parking lots along the canal, and parking is free.

For those using public transportation, you can take the Metro to the Grosvenor-Strathmore station on the Red Line. From there, catch the Ride On bus #47 towards Lakeforest Mall. Get off at the intersection of MacArthur Boulevard and the C&O Canal Towpath. Once you arrive, walk along the Towpath (approximately 1.5 miles) towards Lock 20. Remember to check the bus schedule for the latest timings and potential costs, which may vary.
