    From Piedmont, head southeast on US-29 S toward I-64 E. Merge onto I-64 E and continue for approximately 70 miles. Take exit 276B for I-264 E toward Virginia Beach. After about 10 miles, take exit 22A for First View St toward Fort Story. Continue straight on Atlantic Ave for about 4 miles until you reach the Cape Henry Lighthouse at 583 Atlantic Ave, Fort Story, VA 23459. Note: There is a parking fee of $10 per vehicle.

    From Piedmont, take a Greyhound bus or Amtrak train to Norfolk, VA. Once in Norfolk, transfer to the Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) Route 15 bus heading to Fort Story. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop nearest to Fort Story and walk approximately 1 mile to Cape Henry Lighthouse. Be aware that the bus fare is around $2.00 each way, and the total travel time may take 2-3 hours depending on connections.
