To reach Ricksecker Point by car, start from the Longmire area within Mount Rainier National Park. Head east on the Mount Rainier Scenic Byway (SR 706). Continue on this road for approximately 12 miles until you reach the junction with SR 123. Turn left onto SR 123 and follow it for about 8 miles. Look for signs directing you to Ricksecker Point. The road will lead you to a parking area near the viewpoint, which is a short walk from the car park.

If you are using public transportation, you can take a shuttle bus that operates in the park during the summer months. Catch the shuttle from the Longmire area. Make sure to check the shuttle schedule in advance as services may vary. The shuttle will take you to a stop near Ricksecker Point. From the shuttle stop, it is a short walk to the viewpoint.
