If you are traveling by car, start from the main Harpers Ferry National Historical Park Visitor Center, located at 171 Shoreline Drive. Head south on Shoreline Drive and take a right onto Route 340 (Washington Street). Continue on Route 340 for about 1 mile. Take the exit toward Bolivar and merge onto Bolivar Road. Follow Bolivar Road for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach Whitman Avenue. Turn left onto Whitman Avenue, and Bolivar Heights Battlefield will be on your right. There is no parking fee at the battlefield.

For those using public transportation, take the MARC Train from Washington, D.C. to Harpers Ferry Station.
