Zekate House, also known as Kulla e Zekateve, is a prominent historical mansion in Gjirokastër, Albania, celebrated for its well-preserved Ottoman architecture. Constructed in 1811-1812 for Beqir Zeko, an administrator under Ali Pasha, the house exemplifies the urban kullë, or fortified tower house, characteristic of wealthy Albanians in the early 19th century. The house features two towers and a double-arched facade, offering panoramic views of Gjirokastër. The interior is arranged over four floors, connected by wooden stairs. The ground floor, or *katoqi*, served as storage for food and supplies. The first floor was the living quarters for the family, while the second floor contained bedrooms, a fireplace and even a hammam. The top floor boasts a grand reception room adorned with colorful frescoes and tinted windows.
